CAMS,STR GEARS,FUEL SETUP,timing.

[SC HYBRID]

i want to slap on my type R cams and STR gears. i took them off before the install and now i want to put them back on.Is this a good or bad idea? i also would like to know if anybody has the R cams on their SC setup?i know a few guys here have the gears on,but does anybody know if someone has tried the cams? also,my best times at the track so far were 14.2 with slicks,and this is a civic coupe with SC gsr motor,something ain't right, i should be hittin low 13's or high twelves with this setup.i saw a guy at the last moroso drags in april runnin a 12.5 or so with a 6lb. kit on a civic coupe/gsr.i think my timing and fuel setup need some work,but shit,i should be hittin at least mid 13's on street tires,and im only hittin mid 14's.i want to slap the gears and cams back in also.i have the regular walbro pump and stock injectors,i want to add a better pump and and better injectors.what should i add?

I don't know about improving your times but the regular Walbro and stock injectors could be swapped for the Venom OE replacements (I think they are 270's) and the pump could be upgraded to either a Walbro HO (the 8psi guys are using this one for now) or the Bosch modified by Endyne. I bet if you get your timing and fuel fixed you will be where you want to be (in the mid 13's) with the 6psi kit. I would suggest dumping the JR fpr for a Cartech unit as this is the route us 8psi guys are going. Good luck and I hope I helped alittle
